This policy explains how Bancusoft handles privacy in the DOR mobile application, a private journal for desire, intimacy, relationships, mood, stress and personal reflections.
About DOR
DOR is a private personal journal for iOS and Android. It can be used individually or as a couple and allows users to record daily check-ins, intimacy events, journal entries and personal statistics.
Information You Enter
Depending on the features you choose to use, DOR can store information such as desire, mood, stress, energy, emotional connection, time together, intimacy type, satisfaction, initiator, duration and private journal notes. This information may be highly personal or sensitive.
Local Storage
DOR stores check-ins, intimacy events and journal entries locally on your device in the app database. Bancusoft does not operate a DOR backend or server that receives this content in the current version of the app.
Preferences and Settings
The app stores local preferences such as whether you use DOR for yourself or as a couple, the areas you choose to track, your selected language and auto-lock settings.
PIN and Security
If you enable the optional 4-digit PIN, it is stored using the secure storage mechanism provided by the operating system. The PIN is used only to lock and unlock the app on your device and is not sent to Bancusoft.
No Account Required
DOR does not require a Bancusoft account, login, email address or profile in the current version. Bancusoft does not maintain a server-side account for DOR users.
Analytics, Advertising and Tracking
The current version of DOR does not use third-party analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking or advertising identifiers. Bancusoft does not use DOR data for advertising or profiling.
Data Sharing and Sale
Bancusoft does not sell or rent the personal or intimate information entered in DOR. Because the current version does not transmit this journal content to a Bancusoft server, Bancusoft does not share that content with advertising partners or data brokers.
Operating System Services and Backups
DOR relies on standard iOS and Android storage and security mechanisms. Depending on your device settings, the operating system or your device backup service may include app data in a device backup. Such backup behavior is controlled by your device and account settings and is subject to the privacy terms of the relevant platform provider.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your DOR entries remain on your device until you delete them, reset or remove app data, or uninstall the app, subject to the behavior of your device and any backups you have enabled. Bancusoft cannot directly retrieve or delete your local journal data because it is not stored on a Bancusoft server.
Security
DOR is designed to minimize data exposure by keeping journal content local. You can also enable the optional PIN and auto-lock features. No security method can guarantee absolute protection, so users should also protect access to their device and operating-system account.
Sensitive and Intimate Information
DOR may contain intimate, emotional or relationship-related information. Use the app only on a device you trust, enable device-level security, and avoid entering information that you do not want stored on your device.
Children
DOR is not designed for children. The app is intended for adults and for personal reflection about intimacy, desire and relationships.
Changes to This Policy
Bancusoft may update this policy if DOR features, data practices or applicable requirements change. Any updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
